About me.

Hi, I’m Courtney! I’m a Sydney-based blogger who works full-time in marketing and spends her spare time reading, baking, planning holidays, and travelling—whenever my annual leave balance allows. I’m a dedicated yapper, and this travel blog is my way of shifting my constant monologue online instead of continuing to harass friends and family with unsolicited itineraries and destination hot takes.

I’m also very passionate about beauty, in particular skincare, and have spent the last 6 years working in beauty retail on the weekends to help fund my travel. While you won’t catch me doing an in-flight skincare routine, you will find me double cleansing in the airport bathroom and reapplying SPF every chance I get. This essentially sums up my approach to traveling; while I’m keen to explore as much as I possibly can and my ideal travel day includes 30,000+ steps and *a lot* of local food, I’m no backpacker and I’m all for a cute outfit, an aperol spritz with a view, and a clean hotel room. Though to be very clear, I’m anti-huge-clothing-haul-before-every-trip. Enough’s enough. 

Living in Sydney has its perks, but it also means flights — especially international ones — can get pricey. So when I’m not abroad, I love exploring locally and sharing my favourite Sydney travel spots, eats, and weekend escapes. Expect a mix of itineraries, practical travel tips, and lifestyle content that makes everyday life feel a little more like an adventure.
